As Director, Technology & Strategy, Shirish has led ABST’s development work and operations since 2014, setting the technical direction and strategy behind client projects — bringing the same rigour used on major national infrastructure projects to every engagement, large or small.
Before joining ABST, he held senior project and program management positions at global organisations including Motorola, Nokia Siemens Networks, HCL Infosystems, and Tech Mahindra , working across Malaysia, the United States, and India. His most notable engagement was as Project Manager / Project Leader on ePerolehan, the Malaysian Government’s e-Procurement system — a landmark MSC e-Government flagship project connecting roughly 3,500 government procurement centres with 40,000 registered suppliers nationwide. He also spent over a decade managing Motorola / Nokia Siemens Networks’ CDMA network operations and maintenance programs (OMC-R) for mobile operators across multiple countries , overseeing development, resourcing, budgeting, and delivery for globally distributed teams.
Shirish holds a Master of Technology from Visvesvaraya Regional College of Engineering, Nagpur, and a Bachelor of Engineering from Government Engineering College, Jabalpur — both completed with First Division honours, along with a National Merit Scholarship and top rank in his postgraduate studies. He is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), with hands-on exposure to CMM practices and Six Sigma methodologies.
Combining more than a decade as Director, Technology & Strategy at ABST with earlier enterprise and government-scale project experience, Shirish brings close to 30+ years of overall technology and delivery experience to the team.
